Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the PromGee desktop app only.

PromGee is built with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We believe your learning data and personal information should belong to you—and only you.

The short version: Your learning data stays local on your computer. We do not collect analytics or personal identity data.

PromGee does not require you to create an account. This means:

• No email collection — We never ask for your email address • No personal information — No name, phone number, or any identifying data • No password management — Nothing to remember or secure • No cloud sync — Your data isn't stored on any server

You download the app, start learning, and that's it. No signup walls, no verification emails.

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Quiz progress — Saved on your computer only • Learning statistics — Never leaves your machine • App preferences — Stored in local configuration files

Your core learning records are local-first and remain under your control.

To be explicitly clear, the PromGee desktop app does NOT collect:

• Email addresses • Names or usernames • Analytics events • Quiz answers or performance data • Any personal information whatsoever

The desktop app does not collect personal identity data. Your core learning activity remains private on your device.

PromGee desktop app does not include analytics tracking.

• No analytics events are sent • No telemetry is transmitted • We do not require account creation to use the app

PromGee uses AI for quiz generation and explanations. When you use AI features:

• Quiz content is sent to the AI service for processing • This connection is directly between your device and the AI provider • PromGee does not store or log any AI interactions

The AI features use a free API that doesn't require a credit card, making it accessible to everyone.

Since all data is stored locally, you have complete control:

• Uninstall the app — All local data is removed with the application • Clear app data — Reset everything from within the app settings • Manual deletion — Remove configuration files from your computer

There's no "delete my account" request needed because there's no account to delete.

If we ever change our privacy practices (though we have no plans to):

• We will update this page with a new date • Major changes will be announced in app release notes • Our commitment to local-first, privacy-respecting design won't change
