PromGee is built around category-based practice and AI explanations. Instead of only repeating patterns, you can target exactly what you want to improve and learn the why behind each answer.

Yes. PromGee uses AI for generating quizzes and explanations, so an internet connection is required while you practice.
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) lets you connect your own API key if you prefer. Out of the box, PromGee uses a free AI tier (powered by Groq) that is more than enough for typical single-user practice — around 14,000 calls per day — so there is no extra charge for AI after your one-time license.
It can complement tutoring by giving you targeted practice and explanations between sessions. For speaking practice and personalized coaching, a tutor can still be helpful.
