“do” का इस्तेमाल
“Do” main verb है (“do the dishes”, “do homework”) और past के सवालों और negative वाक्यों में helper भी: “Did you do it?” काम और ज़िम्मेदारियों के लिए “do” लगता है, और कुछ बनाने या पैदा करने के लिए “make”।

“have” के बाद past participle “done” आता है, past simple “did” नहीं।

अंग्रेज़ी में mistake के साथ “make” आता है, “do” नहीं। “Do” कामों और ज़िम्मेदारियों के साथ जाता है; “make” mistakes, decisions और plans के साथ। हिंदी में “गलती करना” और “काम करना” दोनों में “करना” ही है, इसलिए यह गड़बड़ी बहुत आम है।
